Elie Azzi didn’t stumble into the jewelry business. He chose it — completely, methodically, and without shortcuts.

Before opening AZZI Jewelers around the year 2000, Elie spent years mastering every dimension of the craft. Jewelry design and repair. Watchmaking. Custom design. Gemology. He earned his GIA certification — the most respected credential in the jewelry industry — and studied every aspect of the business from the ground up. Not because he had to. Because he refused to do anything halfway.

That obsession with mastery came from something deeper. Elie had always been drawn to architecture — to the discipline of taking a vision, engineering every detail, and building something that endures. He saw that same artistry in jewelry. Every diamond cut, every ring setting, every custom piece is architecture on the smallest possible scale — designed with intention, built with precision, created to last a lifetime.

That vision became AZZI Jewelers. And over 25 years, it has grown into Michigan’s most complete jewelry destination.
