In 1975, Gilda Radner made history as an original cast member of Saturday Night Live, helping cement its status as an American tradition. Through her iconic characters, she brought boldness, vulnerability, and a whole lot of weird to our living rooms. And when Gilda was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she approached it with that same honesty, humor, and heart. Today, her legacy endures in every person supported by Gilda’s Club, the cancer support organization created in her honor.
In celebration of her life and legacy, Shinola is proud to present this limited-edition Runabout. It’s a piece that exudes warmth and heart, beginning with a dial and Cabochon crown adorned with vibrant Red Rainbow Jasper—a natural gemstone with dark veining that forms within the stone over time. Encircling the case is a ring of 60 micro pavé set diamonds, glittering with star power as magnetic as Gilda herself. The warm gold finish of the stainless steel case and wavy bar link bracelet complete the look of this special Detroit-assembled watch.
