Tested at 1,700°F (927"C) for up to 120 minutes, then dropped from 30 feet to simulate your safe falling through a three storey building during a fire.During the test the interior temperature remained below 350°F (177° C), as paper burns at 450°F (232°C) this would provide protection for your documents during a fire.As an extra protection the interior of the safe door is fitted with a Palusol® fire seal which expands to 8 times its original size sealing the door in the event of a fire, giving protection to the contents of the safe from smoke and heat as well as water and fire-retardant chemicals used by fire teams to extinguish fire around the safe.
